Filing a report
Do I need an app or an account?
No. Scan the code on the sign, or open misparked.com/report, and a web page opens. The first time, you confirm your mobile number by tapping a link we text you. That browser remembers your number. A new browser or cleared cookies may need another check.
Why do you need my number?
So every report comes from a real phone, and nobody can file one under a neighbor's number.
Will the towing company or the car's owner know it was me?
No. Neither one sees your name or your number. The towing company sees how your past reports turned out, not who you are.
What will you text me?
The link that confirms your number. After that, only what you ask for: one text when your report closes, and the towing company's questions about it, if you allow them. Reply STOP to any text and they stop.
What can I report?
Things that are true of the vehicle as it sits: blocking a fire lane or access, a missing or expired decal, an accessible space without a placard, taking up two spaces, someone in your assigned space, a resident in visitor spaces, or a vehicle that looks abandoned.
Will the car be towed?
That is the towing company's call. They check the vehicle when they arrive and decide.
The car left. Can I cancel?
Yes. Keep the report page shown after you submit, and press Cancel This Report there. We tell the towing company.
If your car is gone
Where is my car?
Enter your plate on Find My Vehicle. If the tow was recorded in Misparked, you get the storage location and the number to call. If nothing comes up, call the number on the property's tow-away sign.
Who do I talk to about the tow or the fee?
The towing company. Misparked does not tow vehicles or set fees.
Can you tell me who reported my car?
No. We do not share who filed a report.

How do jobs reach us?
As a text or an email with one link, to the number or address you choose in your settings. The link opens the whole job. Nothing to install and no login.
What does it cost?
You pay per report, not per tow, with a monthly maximum you set. The full schedule is on Pricing.

Property managers and HOA boards
Can our property use Misparked on its own?
No. Misparked runs through the towing company you already contract with. Tell us who that is and we take it from there.
Do we change our signs?
No. A small plate goes on the same post, under the sign that is already up.
